Ingredients:
- Water apples - 20 - 25
- Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek (Methi) powder - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 1/2 tsp
Method
- Clean and cut the water apples into 1/2 cm pieces.
- Pour oil in a thick bottomed pan and add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add asafoetida, chilli and methi powder. Pour this onto the cut water apples.
- Add salt and stir.
- This can be served with curd rice / roti.
